Glass Igloo Options

Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle, located in Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, features 71 glass igloos. The igloos offer views of Lapland's nature. Aurora Borealis season is from the beginning of September to mid-April. There are four igloo types: Premium Igloos, Premium Igloos with Sauna, Premium Igloos with Hot Tub, and Premium Igloos with Alcove. Igloos with Sauna and Igloos with Alcove can connect for families or groups.

Dining at Arctic Eye

The Arctic Eye Restaurant offers meals featuring flavors of Lapland and international dishes. It seats 120 people and has glass windows facing North. The staff provides an Aurora Alarm. A lobby bar is available. Santa's Igloos Arctic Eye Restaurant can be reserved for events.

Leisure and Activities

Santa's Igloos are close to Santa Claus Village and Rovaniemi City Center. Guided excursions and safaris can be arranged, with pickup at the Igloo Reception. The Santa Claus Village includes Santa's Office and Post Office, Reindeer and Husky Park. Ounasvaara Forest is available for outdoor activities. Electric car charging stations with 22kW mid-speed charging are available at Santa's Hotel Santa Claus garage. Parking at charging station costs 30 EUR/24 hours, day charging 20 EUR.

Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle is 5 km from Rovaniemi and a 20-minute drive from Rovaniemi Airport (RVN), 4 km away. Airport Taxi shared shuttle service costs 7 EUR/one-way/person. Santa's Express Bus connects Rovaniemi Airport, Santa Claus Village, and the city center. The property is near the airport, city center, and Santa Claus Village. If driving from Helsinki, use the Car Train with cabins with shower and wc. If driving from Tromso, Norway, the drive is approximately 5 hours.

Maximum is 3 beds in total / igloo. Premium Glass Igloos with Alcove has two beds under the glass ceiling and 1-2 beds in the alcove, in addition 1-2 extra beds are possible. Maximum is 5 beds in total / igloo with alcove. Premium Igloo with Sauna and Premium Igloo with Alcove can be connected together with the connecting door. Maximum is then 6 beds and 2 extra beds.
